In the heart of Medellin, Colombia, there is a minstry called Ciudad Refugio, or, "City of Refuge". This ministry was birthed in the heart of Douglas Calvano, to reach out to the lost, the hungry, and the homeless in the streets of Medellin. This mission has now grown to include a homeless shelter, a rehabilitation program for men and women, a church, and a feeding program for children. With God's hand moving so abundantly through the ministry, they needed a bigger facility. BrickThink is sending a team of volunteers to go and help with the finishing touches on the new 6-story facility, including painting, and building closets.

Along with the help of several different ministries and volunteers, the City of Refuge Center was dedicated in August 2008. We have a team leaving on October 20th, 2010, to help with some finishes around the center.
